Clio Winter Cup 2006 at Brands Hatch – ROUND 1+2
Ashurst Wood-based race driver, 19 year old Niki Lanik, put together a storming performance by setting 2 pole positions, 1 fastest lap and 2 race wins at Brands Hatch last weekend! With 10,000 spectators and with plenty of action, the weekend turned out to be brilliant!

On Friday’s testing the Austrian-born race driver was already quickest around the circuit by a long way compared to all other Clio cup racers.
After a visit in the gravel at Druids, and a broken bolt in the front left suspension, Niki still wasn’t put off, as Colin Stancombe, Lanik’s brilliant race engineer, said “There’s no question about it. We’re gonnna win this!” and he sure was right!
