“Lanik aims to take winter form into 2008″

“Niki Lanik in superb form in the Clio Cup Winter Series”

“Double Clio Cup Winter Series champion Niki Lanik has put pressure on himself to carry on his form into next season and win his first race in the main championship.”

“The Austrian driver clinched the 2007 Winter Series with three wins out of four races. He will now return to the championship in 2008 but with extra pressure.”

” ‘I’ve felt comfortable racing in the main championship this season, but I’ve been unlucky at times,’ said Lanik. ‘But my pace is solid now and I’m better every time I get in the car. Next year there will be no excuses, I must be in the top five.’ ”

“The 20-year-old plans to return to next year’s championship with Stancombe Vehicle Engineering.”
